What is FitRum?
FitRum AI Virtual Try-On lets Shopify merchants add a Try-On button to product pages. Shoppers can upload a photo and preview selected products on themselves before buying.
Do shoppers need to upload a photo?
Yes. A shopper photo is needed to generate a personal try-on preview. The widget asks for consent before processing the photo.
Are shopper photos used to train AI models?
No. FitRum does not use shopper photos to train AI models.
How long are photos kept?
Uploaded shopper photos and generated try-on images are kept temporarily. The default retention is 24 hours, unless the merchant configures a supported retention setting or deletion is required sooner.
Can a merchant choose which products use FitRum?
Yes. Merchants can enable FitRum for selected products and choose the best product source photo. If no source photo is selected, FitRum uses the first product image.
What kind of product photo works best?
Use a clear studio product photo without a model when possible. Clean product photos usually create better and more predictable try-on results.
Does FitRum collect shopper emails?
FitRum can collect a shopper email only when the shopper enters it and consent applies. Merchants are responsible for using those emails according to their privacy policy, marketing rules, and applicable law.
What happens when a merchant uninstalls FitRum?
FitRum processes Shopify uninstall and privacy webhooks. Store data is deleted or anonymized according to the Privacy Policy, Shopify requirements, and applicable law.
Who handles billing?
All plan charges and app subscription approvals are processed through Shopify Billing.
How do I contact support?

FitRum support writes only from [email protected]. Any other email or person claiming to represent FitRum support should be treated as fraudulent.
